Steering Gear Boot
Removal
1. Loosen the front wheel nuts.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the front wheel.
4. Remove the tie-rod end.
5. Remove the boot clamps.
6. Remove the boot.
1. Disconnect the breather pipe.
2. Ease the boot off the tie-rod.
Installation
1. CAUTION: Make sure the tie-rod is clean before installing the boot.
NOTE: Install the boot using new clamps.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
