3. Disassemble the strut and spring assembly.

1. Remove the strut top nut.
2. Remove the retaining cup.
3. Remove the top insulator.
4. Remove the spring seat.
5. Remove the spring.
6. Remove the boot.
7. Remove the bump stop.

Assembly 

1. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
