2. Install the lighter trim, if equipped. Install the lighter element and the front ash receptacle.
3. Raise the vehicle. 

4. Install the selector lever assembly.

1. Install the nuts.

NOTE:  Do not lock the selector cable adjusting cap.

2. Connect the selector cable.

5. Install the heat shield.
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Adjust the cable and selector lever. 

8. NOTE:  When the battery has been disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its

adaptive strategy.

Connect the battery ground cable.
