CAUTION: Do not damage the oil seal.
1. CAUTION: If an intermediate shaft bracket with two sets of holes (one set for automatic transaxle application and one set for manual transaxle
application) is installed, install the mounting bolts into the correct holes.
NOTE: Use new nuts.
Install the intermediate shaft.
CAUTION: To avoid to damage the halfshaft joints and boots, do not bend the inner halfshaft joint by more than 18 degrees, the outer one by not
more than 45 degrees.
2. NOTE: Install a new snap ring.
Install the right-hand halfshaft.

Check that the snap ring engages correctly.
