This article will supersede TSB Article 83-8-1 by adding Thunderbird/Cougar to the applications.
To resolve concerns of seating position too low in driver's seat, install spacers between seat and seat track.
1.
Remove the seat and track assembly from the vehicle. Refer to the appropriate removal procedure contained in Section 41 of the appropriate car
shop manual.
2.
Remove and discard the four (4) bolts used to retain the seat tracks to the seat cushion.
