Rotate the middle and lower nylon elbow 180~ from original position. The middle elbow should face the left side of the engine and the lower
elbow should face the right side of the engine (Figure 13).

a.

Route the middle vacuum hose from the connector block in front of the PVS valve and under the kickdown (TV-rod) rod. The upper and
middle hoses should be tucked down (Figure 13).

b.

Route the lower vacuum hose to the purge control valve under the kickdown rod (Figure 13).

Ensure that any other hoses that are routed in area of kickdown rod (TV rod) are placed under or away from rod to eliminate any potential
interference.
