Heater Air Damper Door

Removal

1. Remove the instrument panel.
2. Remove A/C evaporator housing.
3. Remove the two nuts retaining the vacuum control motor to the mounting bracket.
4. Disconnect the vacuum hoses from the vacuum control motor and disengage the motor arm from the heater air damper door crank arm. Remove

the vacuum control motor.

Installation

1. Engage the motor arm to the heater air damper door crank arm.
2. Position the vacuum control motor on the mounting bracket and install the two retaining nuts.
3. Connect the vacuum hoses.
4. Install A/C evaporator housing.
5. Install the instrument panel.

Heater and A/C Air Inlet Duct Door

Removal

1. Working between the heater and A/C air inlet duct and the dash panel, remove two screws retaining the vacuum control motor to the mounting

bracket.

2. Disconnect vacuum hose from vacuum control motor.
3. Disengage the vacuum control motor arm from the heater and A/C air inlet duct door operating link and remove the vacuum control motor.
