Air Door Actuator / Motor: Service and Repair
Blend Door Motor
Removal
1. Remove instrument panel. Place instrument panel on front seat.
2. Disconnect electrical connector from A/C electronic blend door actuator.
3. Remove three actuator mounting screws.
4. Disengage the actuator shaft from A/C air temperature control door and remove A/C electronic blend door actuator from the vehicle.
Installation
1. Engage the actuator motor shaft into the A/C air temperature control door and align actuator mounting tabs with mounting bosses.
2. Install the A/C electronic blend door actuator with three screws.
CAUTION: Do not drive a fourth screw through the heater core cover. It will interfere with the A/C air temperature control door.
3. Connect A/C electronic blend door actuator electrical connector.
4. Install instrument panel.
