Fuel Vapor Tubes

REMOVAL

1. Perform fuel pressure release procedure.
2. Drain fuel from fuel tank.
3. Raise vehicle.
4. Partially lower fuel tank and disconnect the push connect fittings from the fuel pump module and the evaporative emission hose from the 

evaporative emission valve.

5. Disconnect plastic retainer clip from mounting stud attached to the top of the fuel tank.
6. Remove two rivets attaching rear retaining clip to rear floor pan and remove rear retaining clips.
7. Remove one screw attaching steel clip to rear floor side member. Remove clip.
8. Disconnect rear fuel supply return and vapor tube by disconnecting the push connect fitting at the fuel filter inlet.
9. Disconnect rear fuel supply return and vapor tube from front fuel supply return and vapor tube by disconnecting the push connect fittings located

rearward of the fuel filter.

INSTALLATION

1. Connect fuel tubes to fuel pump module and evaporative emission hose to the evaporative emission valve.
2. Install plastic retainer clip to mounting stud located on top of fuel tank.
3. Raise and install fuel tank.
4. Connect plastic retainer clips (secured by two rivets) to the rear floor pan and steel clip screw to the rear floor side member.

NOTE:  Use new rivets. 

5. Connect fuel supply tube push connect to the fuel filter inlet.
6. Connect rear fuel supply return and vapor tube to front fuel supply return and vapor tube by connecting the push connect fittings located rearward
