REMOVAL
Spark Plug Wire Remover
1. When removing ignition wires from spark plug, use Spark Plug Wire Remover T74P-6666-A. Grasp and twist the ignition wire spark plug boot
back and forth on the spark plug insulator to free the boot.
CAUTION: The alternator must be removed to allow for accessibility of the ignition wires that are routed below the alternator.
Removing Ignition Wires At Coil Pack
2. Do not pull on the ignition wire directly as the wire may separate from the connector inside the boot.
CAUTION: Disconnect the ignition wire from the coil pack by squeezing the locking tabs and twisting while pulling upward.
3. Open ignition wire separators and remove ignition wire.
