Differential Side Seal
Removal and Installation
REMOVAL
1. Remove halfshaft assembly.
2. Install Bearing Cup Puller T77F-1102-A in bore and position it behind inboard CV joint stub shaft pilot bearing housing so tangs on tool engage
on inboard CV joint stub shaft pilot bearing housing outer race.
NOTE: If only the inboard CV joint stub shaft pilot bearing housing seal is to be replaced install Bearing Cup Puller in bore and position it so
tangs on tool firmly engage on inboard CV joint stub shaft pilot bearing housing seal.
3. Remove inboard CV joint stub shaft pilot bearing housing seal or inboard CV joint stub shaft pilot bearing housing and inboard CV joint stub shaft
pilot bearing housing seal with Impact Slide Hammer T50T-100-A threaded into Bearing Cup Puller as shown.
