Grand Marquis V8-281 4.6L SOHC (1992)
Clock: Description and Operation
The Clock keeps track of time, date (month and day) and elapsed time.
Voltage is present at the Clock at all times through Fuse 5. This constant power updates time, elapsed time, and date memory when the Ignition Switch is
turned OFF.
With the Ignition Switch in ACC or RUN, voltage is also present at the Clock through fuse 16. This power turns on the Clock display and enables the
function buttons.
With the Main Light Switch in PARK or HEAD, voltage is applied to the Clock though circuit 14 (BR) to dim the Clock display.
