Drive Belt: Service and Repair
BELT ROUTING
Refer to the illustration for the drive belt routing.
REPLACEMENT
1. Rotate tensioner away from belt using a breaker bar installed in 1/2 inch square hole in tensioner arm.
2. Lift old belt over alternator pulley flange and remove.
3. When installing, position new belt over pulleys. Ensure all V-grooves make proper contact with pulley.
4. Ensure belt is properly installed on each pulley.
