Turn Signal Switch: Service and Repair

1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
On models with tilt column, unsnap extension shroud, located below steering wheel, from retaining clip. On all models, remove attaching screws,
then remove steering column trim shroud.
3.
Remove turn signal switch lever by grasping lever and using a pulling twisting motion of the hand, while pulling lever straight out of switch.
4.
Peel foam sight shield from switch, then disconnect two turn signal switch wire connectors.
5.
Remove two screws attaching turn signal switch to lock cylinder housing, then disengage switch from housing.
6.
Reverse procedure to install.
