Install three (3) of the new springs on the right side of the seat first. (Figure 6)

NOTE

THE OPEN END OF THE SPRING SHOULD ALWAYS FACE DOWNWARD SO THAT THEY DO NOT DAMAGE THE SEAT CUSHION
REFER TO FIGURE 6.

12.

Use vise grip pliers or equivalent to install the remaining three (3) springs. (Figure 6)

13.

Place mesh shield on top of the new steel seat cushion support. (Figure 7)

14.

Reinstall seat belt buckle nut and Torque to 30 lb-ft (40 N.m).

15.

Reassemble seat by reversing the disassembly procedure in Steps 3 to 4 and install seat and reactivate the SRS system per the Workshop Manual,
Section 501-10.
