Grand Marquis V8-4.6L VIN V Flex Fuel (2006)
5. Remove the upper steering column shroud.
6. Disconnect the transmission control (TC) switch harness connector.
7. Separate the TC switch harness from the locators and the gearshift lever cover from the steering column.
8. CAUTION: Never reinstall the old gearshift lever pin.
Remove the gearshift lever pin and the gearshift lever. Discard the gearshift lever pin.
9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
