Unauthorized And Could Create Liability Under Applicable Federal Or Local Laws.

Vehicles which exhibit customer concerns of a momentary loss of power during a driveaway approximately one (1) to three (3) miles from cold engine
start, or carburetor throttle shaft icing after cold shutdown can be serviced in the following manner:

1.

Remove the original EGR TVE, Part No. E1EE-9A995-AA (brown), which is located in the air cleaner adjacent to the duct and valve on the left
hand side.

2.

Install the new EGR TVS, Part No. D5AZ-9A995-A (white), in the original location.

3.

Check and reset ignition timing to 8° BTDC, except on calibration 1-03 S-RO and R11 which will remain at 6° BTDC.

4.

Check and reset idle speeds as per the Engine/Emission Diagnosis Manual to original calibration specifications.

5.

Obtain an Authorized Modification decal and list the date, dealer number and alterations performed as shown. Select a prominent place adjacent to
the vehicle Emission Control Information decal suitable for installing the Authorized Modifications decal. Clean the area, install the decal and
cover it with a clear plastic decal shield.

Add timing reset note only if timing is reset to value other than that shown on the VECI.
