Engine stalls at high ambients can be serviced by replacing the existing hot idle compensator with an increased air flow hot idle compensator, or by
installing a hot idle compensator where none currently exists. For vehicles equipped with air conditioning, remove the existing hot idle compensator and
tee assembly and replace it with an (E5FZ-9B532-A) (379507-S) hot idle compensator and tee assembly. For vehicles without air conditioning, remove
the existing crankcase ventilation hose assembly between the intake manifold and the crankcase ventilation hose assembly between the intake manifold
and the crankcase ventilation tee (Figure 13). Install a new hose assembly composed of an 6A664-C crankcase ventilation hose, an (E5FZ-9B532-A)
(379507-S) hot idle compensator and tee assembly, and an E1FZ-6758-A crankcase vent connector and hose assembly (Figure 14).
