Weld the stud 360~ around the periphery of the stud head. Take care not to allow the weld to extend or burn the steady rest bracket bearing area,
as this could cause a misalignment condition for attachment.
5.
Inspect for any weld porosity pin holes.
6.
Re-assemble the steady rest bracket to the retaining bolt and transaxle housing.
