AFFECTED VEHICLES:
Certain 1986 Model Escort Lynx/EXP Emissions System Modification - 1.9L engines with Calibration Codes 6-08A-R25, R27 and R28
Inspection Instructions
1.
Verify engine calibration.
2.
If engine calibration is 6-08A-R25:

Obtain a copy of emissions Recall 86E55.

Audit the engine emissions control system to assure that Emissions Recall 86E55 service has been performed.

Provide 86E55 service, if necessary.
3.
If engine calibration code is 6-08A-R27 or R28, continue with the following modification instructions.
