Using suitable snap ring pliers, slide snap ring back on shaft, Fig. 33.

Push tripod assembly back on shaft, to gain access to circlip, then remove circlip from shaft.
5.
Remove tripod assembly from shaft, and boot if necessary.
6.
Reverse procedure to install noting the following:
a. Fill CV joint outer race with 3.5 ounces of grease and CV boot with 2.1 ounces of grease. Use Ford Constant Velocity Joint Grease/High
Temperature E43Z-19590-A or equivalent.
