Hold the luggage compartment cover (carpet) in place. Locate the approximate center of the clearance holes in the plastic quarter trim panels and
cut an "H" slit in the carpet as shown in Figure 3.

Install the top tether anchoring hardware through the "H" slit in the carpet.

6.

Using a 7/8" (22 mm) O.D. flat washer Part No. 44727-S8 in place of the washer provided with the child safety seat, install the top tether anchor
hardware as shown in the restraint manufacturer's instructions. It is important that the anchor bolt be securely tightened.
