5. CAUTION:  Do not leave the lock ring in the disassembled position. This will weaken the ring and may prevent it from correctly locking

in place when reassembled, resulting in a leak.

Rotate the lock ring back to the original location.

6. Remove the 2 windshield washer reservoir bolts and the windshield washer reservoir.

To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).

7. CAUTION:  Do not operate the washer pump prior to filling the windshield washer reservoir. Failure to follow these instructions may

result in premature pump failure.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Fill the windshield washer reservoir with windshield washer fluid.
