FROM 09/10/2005 TO 10/15/2005

ISSUE
Some 2006 Escape/Mariner vehicles equipped with a 3.0L engine and built between 09/10/2005 and 10/15/2005 may exhibit a coolant (degas) bottle
leak.
ACTION
Use the following Service Procedure to resolve the concern.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
Leaks will appear near one of the plastic weld seams and are often detected by a visual inspection, however it may be necessary to pressurize the cooling
system. If a leak is confirmed from the degas bottle, replace the degas bottle.
