Removal and Installation
CAUTION: While repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of contaminants or premature failure of the power
steering components can result.
1. Drain the power steering fluid into a suitable drain pan.
2. Remove the front bumper cover.
3. Release the power steering fluid cooler hose clamp and disconnect the power steering fluid cooler-to-fluid reservoir hose.
4. Release the clamp and disconnect the power steering gear-to-fluid cooler return hose.
5. Remove the 2 power steering fluid cooler nuts.

To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
6. Remove the 2 power steering fluid cooler bolts.

To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
7. Remove the power steering fluid cooler.
8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Fill the power steering system.
