Coolant Line/Hose: Service and Repair
Coolant Inlet Pipe - 3.0L (4V)
Removal and Installation
1. Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding See: Service and Repair.
2. Remove the Throttle Body (TB). For additional information, refer to Fuel Delivery and Air Induction.
3. Remove the 2 coolant inlet pipe housing bolts.

To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
4. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the coolant inlet pipe from the coolant inlet pipe hose.

Tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
5. Remove and inspect the O-ring seal, install a new seal if necessary.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine coolant.
7. Fill and bleed the cooling system. For additional information, refer to Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding See: Service and Repair.
