Catalytic Converter - 3.0L RH

Removal and Installation

1. Remove the exhaust Y-pipe. For additional information, refer to Exhaust Y-Pipe - 3.0L  See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Exhaust

System/Exhaust Pipe/Service and Repair/Exhaust Y-Pipe.

2. Disconnect the RH Catalyst Monitor Sensor (CMS) electrical connector.

3. Remove and discard the 3 RH catalytic converter nuts and remove the converter.

Discard the RH catalytic converter manifold gasket.

-

To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Install a new gasket and nuts.
