Expansion Valve: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Evacuate system and remove air cleaner.
3.
Remove line gasket-to-dash panel retaining nuts and the gasket.
4.
Remove one Torx head screw retaining compressor suction line and receiver dryer fluid line to expansion valve. Remove and discard seals.
5.
Remove two expansion valve to evaporator retaining screws and remove valve.
6.
Reverse procedure to install. Use new seals during installation
