Cut out a 12 x 12 inch section of the exposed pad in the area of the wear pad/side of tunnel (See Figure 13).
5.
Remove the pad with attached heat insulation pad (white pad attached to underside of carpet pad).
6.
Peel off the white heat insulation pad from the carpet pad and discard.
7.
Apply a contact adhesive, e.g., D7AZ-19B508-A, to the underside of the carpet pad and reinstall.
8.
Reinstall the carpet.
9.
Install the left hand cowl side trim panel.
10.
Reinstall the sound deadener pad below the left side instrument panel.
