Lack of power on acceleration and low turbo boost pressure may occur on Thunderbird/Cougar, Merkur XR4Ti and Mustang SVO units with the octane
switch in the regular or premium position and with the throttle fully open. A lower than specified turbo boost pressure (such as 10 psi or lower) may be
caused by mis-routed boost control solenoid hoses. To correct this, reroute turbo boost hoses using the following procedure:

Confirm that the low boost pressure condition exists using the Engine/Emissions Diagnosis manual, Volume H, (Car/Truck) Section 22, page
22-34 for Pressure Test Kit Hook-Up.
