LINCOLN-MERCURY 1985 MERKUR XR4Ti
The lock set for the 1985 Merkur XR4Ti incorporates TX code series keys. Key blanks for all codes used on the XR4Ti are
included in Rotunda Key Package 011-00120 which also includes battery cartridges for the torch key (flash light).
Key duplicating using an existing key can be accomplished with most commercially available key cutting equipment such as
the Rotunda 011-00001 Key Duplication Package. However, key replacement by code number must be accomplished with
Rotunda Code Key Cutter 011-0003 or equivalent equipment. A code book is included with the Rotunda Package.
TX key code numbers are embossed on a removable tab on the plastic handle of each key delivered with the vehicle. These tabs
and/or code numbers should be retained for reference in the event of lost keys or keys locked in the vehicle, The code numbers
are also embossed on the ignition, glovebox door and liftgate lock cylinders.
