Start the retaining studs and bolts and torque to 7 to 11 N-m (5 to 8 ft.lbs.).
19.
Reconnect coolant line to oil cooler at the metal to rubber connection (right hand side of engine above turbocharger).
20.
Reinstall the spark plug wire holder onto the valve cover stud and reconnect wires to proper spark plugs.
21.
Reinstall the coolant pipe retaining clip and screw at the right front of the valve cover.
22.
Make sure that the throttle body and upper intake manifold gasket surfaces are clean.
23.
Install a new throttle body gasket (E5TZ-9E936- B) on the two (2) studs of the upper intake and install the throttle body. Secure the throttle body
with two (2) retaining nuts and two (2) bolts. Torque to 16-20 N-m (12-15 ft.lbs.).
24.
Reconnect the rubber air intake hose and clamp to the throttle body.
25.
Insert a new gasket (E3ZZ-9F703-A) between the turbocharger and metal air intake tube. Reinstall the tube and the two (2) retaining bolts and
torque to 19-29 N-m (14-21 ft.lbs.). Tighten clamps on the rubber air intake hose.
26.
Install the new oil separator (E6ZZ-6A785-A) in the rubber grommet in the new valve cover and connect the PCV closure tube to the separator
and clamp.
27.
Reconnect the accelerator cable and automatic transmission kickdown linkage (if equipped).
28.
Reconnect the throttle position sensor and air bypass valve electrical connectors.
