Loosen the screw in the center of the wiring connector and separate the connector from the ECA processor.

Replace ECA processor E5ZZ-12A650-FC with E5ZZ-12A650-FD.
6.
Reinstall the ECA processor into the mounting bracket and attach the sound deadening panel to the bottom of the instrument panel.

Prepare an authorized modifications decal (form FPS-8262) showing a new processor has been installed (see Figure 20) and install it on the
front engine cover in area of existing calibration code decal (attach vinyl protecting overlay).
8.
Run VIP test to verify system is operating properly.
NOTE:
Service Code 67 during key-on, engineoff self test is normal - same as found with the 1985 calibration. However, Service Code 26 during
engine running self test should not be present as it was with the 1985 calibration.
