Milan L4-2.3L VIN Z (2006)
Apply silicone gasket and sealant to the locations shown.
3. Install the valve cover, new gasket and retainers.

Tighten in the sequence shown to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
4. Position the wiring harness and attach all of the wiring harness retainers to the valve cover and the valve cover studs.
5. Connect the CMP sensor electrical connector.
6. Connect the CHT sensor electrical connector.
7. Connect the VCT solenoid electrical connector.
8. Connect the crankcase vent hose.
9. NOTE: Make sure the notch on the oil level indicator is aligned with the V-shaped boss on the valve cover and fully engaged into the valve
cover.
Install the oil level indicator.
10. Position the engine wiring harness bracket on the valve cover stud.
11. Install the ignition coil-on-plugs. For additional information, refer to Ignition System.
