3. Using a suitable straight edge, align the front surface of the oil pan flush with the front surface of the engine block.
4. Install the remaining oil pan bolts.

Tighten in the sequence shown to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the 3 oil pan-to-bell housing bolts.

Tighten to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).
6. Install the engine front cover.
7. Fill the engine with clean engine oil.
