Press and hold the roof opening panel control switch forward until the roof opening panel glass moves to the full vent position. (Figures 1 and 2)

On the rear center of the roof opening panel glass, look for a foam felt tape glued to the glass frame. (Figure 3)

If the felt tape is present proceed to Step 6.

If the felt tape is not present do not proceed with this TSB, follow normal diagnostics in Workshop Manual, Section 501-17.
