14. Release the first cushion trim cover J-clip from the rear of the cushion frame.
15. Disconnect and detach the electrical connectors.

Slide and disengage the side air bag module electrical connector locking clip, release the tab and disconnect the side air bag module electrical
connector. Detach any pin-type retainers.

If equipped, disconnect the heated seat electrical connector and detach any pin-type retainers.
16. Detach the side air bag bolt cover.
17. Remove the bolt, lift up and out to separate the side air bag module from the seat backrest.
18. Slide and disengage the side air bag module electrical connector locking clip, release the tab and disconnect the side air bag module electrical
connector.
19. Detach and route out the side air bag wire harness.
20. Route out the side air bag wire harness from the seat track and cushion.
21. Remove the 4 recliner-to-backrest frame bolts and remove the backrest assembly.
22. Disengage the backrest cover lower J-strips.
23. Separate the hook-and-loop strips on each side, at the bottom of the backrest trim cover.
24. NOTICE: Use care when separating the backrest trim cover from the hook-and-loop strip, or the hook-and-loop strip can be torn from
the backrest foam pad.
Place a hand between the backrest trim cover and backrest foam pad and carefully separate the hook-and-loop strips.
25. Invert the backrest trim cover to the hog rings.
