2. NOTE: Record the location of the 6mm bolt for assembly Remove the 9 bolts and the pump and filter assembly. See Figure 50.

3. Remove filter from the pump. making note of the orientation of the fluid filter to the fluid pump. See Figure 51.

4. Remove the magnet from the filter.

5. Install the magnet on the filter.

6. Install the filter.

A. Position the filter on the pump.

B. Rotate the filter counterclockwise 90 degrees.

7. Install the pump and filter assembly in the torque converter housing and install the pump bolts. See Figure 52.

A. Tighten to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft).
