Removal and Installation
1. Relieve the parking brake cable tension.
2. Remove the 3 parking brake cable bracket bolts from the subframe.

To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs.).
3. Disconnect the intermediate cable from the front cable at the cable-to-cable union.
4. Release the intermediate cable from the body bracket.
5. Release the intermediate cable from the rear RH cable at the cable-to-cable union.
6. Release the LH rear cable from the at the intermediate cable conduit equalizer.
7. Loosen but do not remove both RH subframe bolts.
8. While supporting the LH side of the sub frame with a suitable support screw jack stand, remove both LH subframe bolts.
9. Using the screw jack stand, lower the LH side of the subframe approximately 120 mm (4.72 inch).
10. Remove the wireform bracket bolt on top of the subframe and remove the intermediate parking brake cable.

To install, tighten to 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
11. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Inspect the parking brake system for correct operation.
