Oil Change Reminder Lamp: Service and Repair
CHANGE OIL SOON/OIL CHANGE REQUIRED.
Oil Life XX%, CHANGE SOON/OIL LIFE 0% CHANGE OIL, OIL LIFE XX%, CHANGE SOON displayed when the engine oil life remaining is
10 percent and again when the engine oil life remaining is between 5% and 1%. When oil life left reaches 0%, the OIL LIFE 0%, CHANGE OIL
message will be displayed.
An oil change is required whenever indicated by the message center and according to the recommended maintenance schedule. USE ONLY
RECOMMENDED ENGINE OILS.
To reset the oil monitoring system to 100% after each oil change approximately 5,000 miles (8,000 km) or 180 days perform the following;
Message Center Configuration
Oil Life Reset Base Instrument Cluster
1. Press and release the ODO/TRIP button to toggle between the odometer and trip odometer displays.
2. Press and release the ODO/TRIP button again to toggle between the trip odometer display and the OIL LIEE XX% display.
3. Press and hold the ODO/TRIP button for approximately 2 seconds or longer until OIL LIFE 100% is displayed.
4. Press and release the ODO/TRIP button to return to the odometer display.
Oil Life Reset Message Center Instrument Cluster
1. Press and release the SETUP button until OW LIFE XX% RESET IF NEW is displayed.
2. Press and release the RESET button until IE NEW OIL HOLD RESET is displayed.
3. Press and hold the RESET button until OW LIFE SET TO 100% is displayed.
