Removal
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive shift
strategy.
Remove the battery tray.
3. Loosen the clamps and remove the air cleaner tube.
4. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Disconnect the digital Transmission Range (TR) sensor electrical connector.

Disconnect the transaxle electrical connector.

Disconnect the speed control electrical connector.
6. Remove the wiper arm and pivot assembly.
