Brake Pedal Assy: Service and Repair

REMOVAL  

1. Disconnect the brake booster push rod.

Remove the hairpin clip.

Separate the stoplight switch and the brake booster push rod from the brake pedal pin. 

3

Remove the brake booster push rod bushing.

NOTE:  When removing the stoplight switch, retain the bushing and hairpin clip. They will be required for installation. 

2. Remove the bulkhead sound insulator.

3. Remove the bolts.
