Disconnect the speed control cable from the speed control servo. Then remove the cable from the vehicle.

10.

Connect a new speed control cable to the speed control servo.

11.

Position the flexible bulkhead splash shield back into the installed position.

12.

Install the clean air tube.

13.

Connect the clean air tube to the elbow.

14.

Connect the speed control cable to all routing clips and the accelerator bracket.

15.

Connect the speed control cable to the throttle body cam.

16.

Install the snow shield to the throttle body.

17.

Connect the clean air tube to the throttle body. Then connect the fresh air tubes.

18.

Position into place or install the engine cover.

Mustang

1.

On vehicles that have not been disabled, disconnect the speed control cable from the throttle body. See Figure 7.

2.

Disconnect the speed control cable from the accelerator bracket.

3.

Disconnect the speed control cable from all routing clips.

4.

Raise and support the vehicle.

5.

Remove the left front wheel/tire assembly.

6.

Remove the left front inner fender well.
