Lifter / Lash Adjuster: Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview
1. Inspect the hydraulic valve tappet and roller for damage.
2. If any damage is found, inspect the camshaft lobes and valves for damage.

If pitting is excessive, replace the camshaft as needed.
