Mountaineer V8-302 5.0L VIN P EFI (1998)
4. Separate the CV joint from the CV joint housing.
5. Mark the shaft and the inboard CV joint to ease alignment during assembly.
6. Remove the snap ring.
7. Remove the CV joint.
8. Inspect the stop ring for wear or damage. Install a new stop ring as necessary.
