Flex Plate: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove the transmission.
2. Remove the bolts and remove the flywheel.
3. Clean and inspect the flywheel.
INSTALLATION
1. Position the flywheel and install the bolts.
NOTE:
-
Sealant must be removed from the bolt holes prior to reassembly.

If reusing the bolts, clean sealant from the bolts and apply Pipe Sealant with Teflon(TM) D8AZ-19551A or equivalent meeting Ford
specification WSK-M2G350-A2. Do not apply sealant to the new bolts. They come with sealant on them.
2. Install the transmission.
