Wheel Speed Sensor: Service and Repair
Sensor, Front
Removal
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the front anti-lock brake sensor wire from the vehicle frame.

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Unclip the front anti-lock brake sensor wire from the vehicle frame.
3. Remove the front anti-lock brake sensor.

Remove the bolt.

Remove the front ant1 -lock brake sensor.
Installation
1. NOTE: Plug the sensor mount opening and thoroughly clean the mounting surface. Apply High Temperature 4x4 Front Axle and Wheel Bearing
Grease E8TZ-19590-A meeting Ford specification ESA-M1Cl98-A.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
