Removal 

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.
2. Using a backup wrench to hold the case fitting securely, disconnect the fluid cooler fittings.

3. Remove the secondary latch from the cooler tube.

4. Using the special tool, disconnect the quick connect coupler and remove the transmission fluid cooler tube from the radiator.

5. Remove the secondary latch from the transmission fluid cooler tube.
