6. Disconnect the exterior door handle actuating rod.

1. Open the clip.
2. Disconnect the rod.

7. If equipped, release the lock cylinder actuating rod.

8. Disconnect the door latch jumper harness electrical connectors.

1. Disconnect the body harness electrical connector.
2. If equipped, disconnect the key cylinder electrical connector and separate the locator from the door frame.

9. Remove the screws and the door latch.

Discard the screws.

10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Transfer components as necessary.

Check for correct front door latch operation.
