Exterior Front Door Handle

Removal and Installation

1. Remove the front door trim panel.

2. Position the water shield aside.

3. Remove the screw and the energy absorbing foam pad.

4. If equipped, disconnect the door lock cylinder actuating rod.

5. Open the clip and disconnect the exterior front door handle actuating rod.

6. Remove the 2 exterior front door handle nuts.

To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

7. Remove the exterior front door handle.

8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
